In loving memory of a wonderful man that was generous with his time, talents, and treasures. Chuck loved his clients, coworkers, and humanity and they loved him. He shared his abundance of knowledge so graciously. I want to thank him for his smile and infectious laugh. He loved life. He will be missed. ALOT! May he rest in peace and may We all find peace in the gratitude of having known him. He was a good man that helped us in many ways. It is with a heavy heart full of grief that I say, until We meet again in Paradise. You will be missed!

Chuck was a great friend and was happy to have shared some of the best years of my life with him. A tremendous.loss for all. In the movie stand by me, the final scene a man types into his computer " although I hadn´t seen him in years I will always miss him. Later on in life I never had friends like when I was 12. Jesus, does anyone?" Peace brother.

Chuck was a great guy. This is a great loss for the world and my world. The friendship we forged as young kids has lasted through life. What a beautiful person. Funny, smart and kind. Going to miss you. God bless you, Chuck

Selfless and kind, with a voice that could fill a room and make people listen. The strongest and smartest man I ever met, and someone who did his utmost to make sure everyone was welcome and taken care of.

He treated me like his own son as soon as he met me, and I will forever be grateful. I truly hope he felt my love for him.

Thank you, Dad. I'll miss you.

Caroline, I am so sad to hear of Chuck’s passing. Your tribute to him is so accurate and telling as to who he is and will always be fondly remembered as. He was no doubt one of a kind. Even though our paths have not crossed in such a long time, the loss is still real. I’ll shed a tear, then, as he would appreciate, will remember the good times spent, the joy he had of life, and remember the type of kind soul he was who would give the shirt off his back for those who meant the most to him. He will be missed, I’m sure. Please accept my condolences for you and your family.

I just wanted to let you know what sad news it was when I heard that Chuck passed away. He was such a good guy personally and to work next to professionally. Exceptional talent professionally.

Chuck and I got to know each other very well when I first started at the firm and then for the next few years because his office was next to mine, so we always talked and heard each other’s calls. We got to know a lot about each other this way, each morning coming in walking by his office, talking about things, his Michigan property he loved and my Michigan property I loved. Michigan was something we had in common besides our work. It’s funny how much you can learn about someone listening to their calls, his voice and stories I will always remember. He was a person who brought the tax staff donuts each Wednesday morning because he was generous, and he walked around with a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to help people learn. Just patient and caring.

I miss seeing him daily in the office and I know I’ll miss him more now having to accept that he won’t ever walk into the office again. I don't want to accept it.

If it is any consolation, just know how much he was appreciated and how respectfully he carried himself, and how much he will be missed. He was a man of respect in my eyes, and I’m sure in many others as well.

I'm sorry I didn't know Chuck but what a lovely obituary you wrote for your husband. I am sure he was thrilled to be your husband. What's always so hard when you have been married to someone so good is that you miss them all the more but remember the good times and may the Good Lord ease the loss for you and your family! My deepest sympathy!
