Charles W. Merigold, age 90, Korean War Navy Veteran, passed away July 27, 2022. Beloved husband of Sharon, nee O'Meara. Loving father of Beverly Kintz (Fiance David Lenoci), Charles S. Merigold, Mark (Cheryl) Merigold, and Robin (Janet) Merigold. Stepfather of Rick (Alison) Garcia. Dearest grandfather of Robert (Bailey) Kintz, Alison Smallwood, Mark (Amanda) Merigold, Matthew Merigold, Lee Merigold, Lynn Merigold, and Martin Marigold; cherished great-grandfather of Jayden, Audrey, Cheyenne, and Alicia. Charles was a retired 35 year Metra Conductor and an usher at St. Damian Church in Oak Forest, Illinois. He was a lifelong avid Bears Fan---- show your true support by wearing your Bears Apparel. Funeral Monday, August 1, 2022 at 9:15 a.m. from the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Forest, to St. Damian Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. For information: 708-687-2990.
