Charles, It's been approximately 1 month since you passed away, but in a way it feels like just yesterday when you were here with the family, laughing & telling stupid jokes as you did best. You were one of a kind & nobody can ever take your place. The house seems so empty, so cold without you their..something is missing & it's you. The holidays are near & it just won't be the same without you here. X-mas was definitely your favorite, no doubt about that..how you use to wrap all of the gifts in front of the white tree & sing X-mas carols;(you really thought you could sing).

So many things have changed now that you are gone, but I believe all of us grew extremely strong. Dawny & Kimmy miss you very much; we always talk about you Dad, about all of the fun we all once had. All of us kids will never forget the things you taught us, all the nice things you did, the good advice you gave & the laughter & love you brought to our family. I promise Dad,..Mark, Chuck, Kim, Dawn & I will all stay close as we should & we will always keep in touch. We all love you so much.

It hurts to think that all of the good times that we shared are now in the past..pictures of your handsome self (as you always said) & memories of your crazy ways are all that is left. You gave most of us nicknames (gosh, how can we forget) but your grandchildren made up one of their own, which was one of the best..Papa CooCoo; that was one made up just for you, & how you loved it, because it was so true. All eight grandchildren miss you greatly.

Don't worry, Dad, Mom will be okay, she just has been lost since the day you went away. The many good times will always be in her heart; the day you both met, the good conversations you shared, the beautiful vacations & all those trips to the boat will never be forgotten! She will also never forget the beautiful way you smiled at her with those deep dark brown eyes that morning of the day you went away. She loves & misses you so much & hopefully you could see how mom & I finally have grown close.

Jenny misses you too; she wanted me to tell you that you will always be in her heart. She'll never forget you "Papa Charlie," as she called you.

It was so hard to let go..to let go of something that meant so much to me. You were someone I looked up to and someone I always counted on. You were a great man, you were my buddy, my pal. You were always their & never once let me down! I appreciate everthing you have done for me & don't worry about me Dad, you have taught me very well. Throughout every decision I make, I'll always hear your voice in the back of my head because I'll always remember every single word that you once said. & Remember, no matter how old I get, I'll always be your "little girl."

Love Always,

The Whole Family!

Charlie, I always knew you were predictable until September 25, 2002 when it seemed like my whole life just came to an end. Nobody will ever know the love that we felt & the good times we shared & all I have left are the memories of you & me. I promise Nicole & I will take care of eachother & everyone tells me things will eventually get easier, but to me...things have only gotten harder without you by my side. We all miss you terribly.

Love,

Your Hunny Bunny, Carol
