Dear Uncle Charlie,

May you rest in peace.

No farewell words were spoken,

no time to say goodbye.

You were gone before we knew it,

and only God knows why.

You will be sadly missed.

Love, your niece,

I've known Charlie for a good many years and we in fact have worked together for about 38 years. Charlie was always an excellent employee, a hardworker and he always did his best in every job that he did. Charlie was loyal, friendly and usually has a smile on his face and everyone that knew him was very fond of him.

My Dad in fact, first hired Charlie to work with us over 38 years ago and it was a great pleasure to have him as a member of the Dard Products family.

We will miss Charlie a lot and he will always be remembered as a kind and devoted person.

Dear Charlie, I want you to know that you are missed so very much by me and Spunky. I will always remember the walks we took together; the meals we had together; and, the conversations we had together. I'll miss a lot of the things that you did for me and Spunky. And Charlie, we know that the good times always outweigh the bad. Charlie, you know I never was much with words, but I'm having a hard time missing you. But I'll be okay Charlie. I hope that you are in a better place. All of our love, Kenny and Spunky

Uncle Charlie, God I was just driving through Chicago and wondering how you were doing when I later found out.You were always so pleasant to be around. Thanks for helping me out when I needed it. I wish I could have helped more. You were a good person, a nice man. I hope that if there is a God or heaven or someplace peacefull, you and Steve are there together...laughing.

Dear Charlie, you were a dear brother to me, always looking after me when we were kids, and letting me follow you around. Growing up we stayed in touch as much as we could, until you joined the Army. Years went by, and so we saw each other when you lived with Ruth and John. Later, you sometimes came and stayed at my house, and loved going out to breakfast and enjoyed sitting in my backyard. We were brother and sister, but we were also friends. I will miss you, and I will never forget you. I love you. Your sister, Barbara

I remember Uncle Corky coming to visit us when I was small. He would toss a penny and then ask, "Heads or Tails?" If I guessed correctly, he would let me keep the penny! It's been a long time since I've seen him, but I've thought of him from time to time. May he rest in peace.
