Charles Jarvis Obituary

Jarvis, Charles Foster Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006, at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with an officiant of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Mr. Jarvis, 61, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Jarvis was born June 4, 1944, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Charles Jarvis and Dorothy Atterbury Jarvis. He was a retired Security Manager for Frank's Nursery & Craft in Chicago. He enjoyed woodworking, stained glass design, gardening, fishing, swimming and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Jarvis of Jackson, TN; three daughters, Denise Lynn Jarvis of Chicago, IL, Lisa Marie Jarvis (Ken Wachholder) of Norridge, IL and Stephanie Delgado (Roger) of Jackson, TN; two grandchildren, Alex and Jake Delgado. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 2935 Hwy. 45 By-Pass, Jackson, TN 38395 or Hospice of West Tennessee, 1804 Hwy. 45 By-Pass, Jackson, TN 38305.
