I only knew Mr. Feistkorn of a short amount of time I am the best friend to his granddaughter Jenna Feistkorn, everytime I would go over to his home with Jenna, he and his wife were so nice to me, treating me like I was family. I am saddened by the news of his passing and I am glad I was able to meet such a wonderful and happy man. Best of luck to the entire family and god bless.

Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of my Uncle Gus. He always had a big smile and was always in a jocular mood. As I have gotten older, I think back on what a great uncle he was and how blessed I am to have known him. I know how much he will be missed by all those who knew him.

A memory that I have of my grandfather, was when I was a freshman in high school my grandpa took me to school just about everyday. On the last day of school we were sitting in the turning lane about to turn left into the school. Being that my grandfather was blind in his right eye he didnt see the suburban that was coming down the hill, so he started to turn and I remember looking at the car and thinking " wow we are really close to that car, hope it doesnt hit us" then I closed my eyes, turned my head, and leaned toward my grandfather. Sure enough it did hit us, we slid into one car and the front end of the car was wedged under a school bus. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Not a really great memory , but it always reminds me of what a gracious person he was, he could make anyone laugh no matter what mood you were in. He dedicated his life to education, and most anything having to do with helping others. I miss my grandpa very much, he was a wonderful man, and anyone that got to meet him was a very lucky person. I am very honored to be his granddaughter, and I will miss him very much.

I love you grandpa...

Love,

Jenna

I worked with and for Charlie at Elkins Institute in Atlanta in the early eighties. He always had a smile on his face and really loved the school business. I am saddened to read of his death. My condolences to his entire family.
