Dear Frank & Family,

I don't know if you'll remember me, but I lived on 6th Ave. You were a year behind me in school and your sister Michelle went to school with my sister Kim. Charlene was in chorus with me...she was such a sweet person with a pretty smile. I just had to write you and tell you how very sorry I am to hear of Charlene's passing, and to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Charlene in her Hemi 300 - Happy Day

Charlene Bartol was a lovely and loving person. Her strength was and is an inspiration. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My love and sympathy go out to her family.
My last memory of her was when she was in a time of relative strength and health, and I cherish that image. I also remember when we discovered our mutual obsession with iris's, when she gave me a bottle of wine with an iris on the label, and most of all, shock of shocks, when she showed me her iris tattoo. I will plant a big old bed of iris in her honor this fall, and toast her life with a glass of that lovely wine.
Much love to Frank and the children,

Char and Her Grand Daughter Shea

Dear Frank and Family,
I am sure you do not remember me, but My family and I were at your and Charlene's wedding that beautiful September day in 1978. I remember having a wonderful time at her house on Mildred St. Charlene used to date my brother, Joe Dato. She also sang for my wedding in 1975. She was a kind, loving and giving person. I was so sorry to learn of her passing. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. I will keep you in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Dato Timbario

Frank, Adam and Erin ~ I am so sorry to hear about Charlene. You should be so proud of the way she has fought the fight for so many years. She is at peace, no pain. I can see her smiling as I type this. I am going to miss my cousin. God bless you all.

Frank, Erin, Adam and Susan,
Thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Charlene was a true fighter right to the end with more love, strength and courage than anyone I have ever met. She now has her wings and a beautiful home in Heaven surrounded by other Angels that will watch over her as she watches over all of you, until you meet again.
With love and sympathy,
