SALEM, N.H. — Catherine M. (Andrews) Martin , 47, of Salem, N.H., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.
The daughter of the Late George W. and Katherine R. (Crowley) Andrews, Catherine was born in Lawrence. She was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1979.
She was employed as a manager for 18 years for the John Anton Fabric Care Center in Plaistow, N.H., until her recent illness.
She resided in Atkinson, N.H., until moving to Salem, 10 years ago. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, William H. Martin of Salem; stepdaughters, Heather Martin of Amherst, N.H. and Andrea Martin of Milford, N.H.; two granddaughters, Mackenzie and Isabella of Amherst, N.H.; two brothers and their wives, David C. and Karen Andrews of Salem, N.H. and George W. and Cheryl Andrews of Salisbury; a sister and her husband, Ellen and Allyn Christiansen of Concord, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Ellen Andrews of Salem, N.H.; two uncles, John Crowley of Methuen and David Crowley of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Andrews and the late Thomas Andrews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Boles Memorial-Baron-McAuliffe-Yameen Funeral Home, 184 Jackson St., Lawrence, (978-686-0386). Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lawrence. Relatives and friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital Donations, 1 Autumn St., Boston, MA 02115.
