I'm thankful I was fortunate enough to have Cathy as a friend. She was a close friend and co-worker of my mom, Pat Connors at Bell, Boyd. I would see her occassionally when I came to town. A few summers ago she hosted us for a great BBQ and swim up on the roof of her condo building. Cathy was generous with her hospitality, affection, and love. Every e-mail or personal conversation I had with her was uplifting and encouraging. Her contagious laugh and zest for life will be missed so much. I know she is entertaining, flirting & nurturing others in heaven now. I miss you, Cathy. But I know I will see you again in heaven. Your Suzy-Q : ) xxxooo

I just met Cathy a month ago on a trip to Florida with her and Diana. She truely was an amazing lady. I wish I had more time to get to know Cathy but I am grateful for the week I was able to spend with her. To Nick, I heard so many wonderful things about you in the short time I knew Cathy. My heart goes out to you.

I just spent a week with Cathy in Florida which is where I met her four years ago. She was such a sweet caring person and I will truly miss her. It seems that I didn't have enough time to spend with her but I will alway cherish the wonderful times we had together. I had no idea she was so sick because she was good at not showing the way she truly felt. I loved her like a sister and will miss her so much. God bless you Nick and I know he will give you comfort during this very hard time in your life.

I've known Cathy for a little over a year while I was at Bell Boyd & Lloyd and she was the most charismatic woman I've ever met. A very fun loving person to work with and very cordial. It was a shock to hear of her passing because I just saw her back in the latter part of August and she was in good spirits. Bell Boyd has suffered a terrible loss. I do give my condolences to the family and to let them know that she's with the Lord. May God bless you all.

Always with a smile on her face, please know that Cathy will be missed by us all.
It was over 17 years ago when I first met Cathy at Bell, Boyd. From the first day I met her, she has always been kind, caring, and generous. She was a fountain of endless energy and compassion.
My prayers go out to you on the loss of not only a lovely sister, but a wonderful friend.
God bless.

Wow. I am totally stunned at this sudden ending to such a vibrant spirit's life. Cathy and I were very tight for several years when I worked at Bell, Boyd. We were kindred spirits and our approach to life was to live it to the fullest. I am sure that, even though we lost touch, she continued to do just that. It was natural for her to be happy, generous and thoughtful to anyone who was lucky enough to have had her in their life, whether it was for a lifetime or for 30 fleeting seconds. I appreciate the close friendship that I had with Cathy. We all seem to get something from the good souls who pass through our lives and I will always hold close the love and friendship that I got from Cathy. My deepest sympathies to Cathy's family, friends and co-workers. God bless.

I have known Cathy at Bell Boyd a long time. I recently saw her and she was so happy to be going to Florida on vacation. Her passing was a shock to me and I will truly miss her smiling face and wonderful humor.

Cathy and I rode the bus together in the mornings, and we would chat about things whenever we ran into each other. Sometimes it was recipes, other times it was just about what we had done the night before or the weekend before.
I saw her about 5 weeks ago, and she told me about her stress test, and that she felt good except for the breathing thing. She was out of breath, and I remember thinking that I hoped it wasn't her heart. She was as pretty as ever that day, with her hair in her pony tail, and she even gave me her seat because I was on crutches.
She was a lovely, friendly, compassionate woman who will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
