Strzempa, Casimir J. age 78, Army Vet. of WWII, Purple Heart recipient, beloved and devoted husband of the late Frances (nee Kerbs) and the late Helen (nee Staniszewski), loving father of the late Casimir Jr., dearest brother of Helen (late Casimir) Halaj, Stella Lubera, Edward Strzempa and the late Marie (late Casimir) Kula, dear uncle and great-uncle of many. President of Central Stickney Sanitary District since 1970, District 10 Precinct Captain of the Stickney Twp., Reg. Democratic Org., life member of Rhine Post #2729 VFW, Purple Heart Veterans, D.A.V.-Midway Chapter #43, St. Camillus Golden Agers and the Central Stickney Golden V.I.P.'s. Funeral Friday, 8:45 a.m., from the Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave., (corner of Lorel), to St. Camillus Church for 9:30 a.m., Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Assn., would be appreciated.
