Aunt Carrie was such fun to be around when she would visit us at my grandparents' (Alex and Lillian Bunij) farm. I have some fond memories of summers spent up in Wisconsin. I always looked forward to the arrival of the legendary Uncle Bruno and Aunt Carrie! Fishing stories and laughter were in abundance. She will be missed.

We were saddened to hear the unwelcome news of your Mother’s passing and express our deep sympathy to you and your loving family. While the bitterness of sorrow cannot be lifted, the gift of a full and loving family life together is a blessing you shall retain forever. Believing as we do that a heaven awaits the faithful and that goodness precedes greatness, we can only hope to imagine the celebration in God’s kingdom on her return. For her, this is not a time for sadness or grieving, but a time of thanksgiving for the gift of her love and devotion and a celebration of her life. We wish you comfort in the fact that her spirit of love, goodness and strength shall bring you satisfaction, healing and peace. She leaves you something better than words, you’ll always see her in the people she knew and loved. She shall remain with you throughout your life. May God help and bless you with His grace and strength to make each one of your days ahead better then the last. In love, sympathy and prayers, Sharon & Ken Sain

Ciocia Carrie's laughter is one of my favorite childhood memories. She was a wonderful Great Aunt! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and loved ones. I wish she could have seen the muskie I caught this summer in Canada....
