Kirshman, Carona (nee Mendelson), beloved wife of George Kirshman, loving mother of Cindy (Charles) Kirshman-Gradle and Michele (Michael) Richman, dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Elliot and Stacy, great-grandmother of Kate, fond aunt of Edwina Silber. Funeral Tuesday, 12:30 p.m. at the Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd., Skokie to Shalom Memorial Park. Memorials in her name may be sent to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 910 W. Van Buren, Chicago, IL, 60607. Info., Piser Funeral Service, 847-679-4740.

Aunt Corona (that is how I always thought it was spelled) was always kind to all of us at the Silber household. I still remember Corona and George coming over for the holidays. Her generosity and kindness will always be remembered by me.

I have very fond memories of Auntie Carona. To me she always seemed like royalty. She always looked beautiful and always had a smile on her face. It was nice growing up with her and Uncle George around.

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to George and family. I was Carona's hairdresser these past 4 years and will miss her terribly. She was a very lovely, and regal women,and always presented herself beautifully, inspite of her medical problems. I know that she is at peace with God.
