Carole Egner Obituary

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Grandma Carole. Knowing the Egner family for 46 years I can tell you one thing: Carole never let you leave the house hungry! A lot of good times around the dinner table. Rest in peace Carole and may God hold you in the palm of his hand. The Larry Collins Family.

Mine and Michelle’s sincere condolences go out to the entire family on the death of an obviously very important part of your family, Grandma Carole! I have never met her personally but only by telephone. I know though if she is the grandmother of my daughter in law Rebecca she must have been the best! Our family and her great grandson Luka will miss her dearly but we will get to share her in all the good traits she had now rubbing off on us thru Rebecca. It is pretty obvious that she was a very caring individual!

I am so happy that Luka was able to meet her, even if briefly, on his recent quick trips to Chicago.

Hope to meet you all in the future should you get the opportunity to come visit Dillon and Rebecca in Phoenix. I am sure you will also hear from Michele at this sad time separately from this communication.

Dearest Rebecca, Dillon, Luka and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I had not even met Carole in person, but the many, many phone calls, stories and photographs have made me feel like had known her for years. It is so very difficult losing one who is so significant in our lives, and I send you love and positive thoughts as you make your way along this sea of heartbreak.
