Madejczyk, Carol Ann

Carol Ann Madejczyk (nee Hofmann), 74, of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born February 15, 1947 in Chicago to the late Patricia (nee Diken) and Richard H. Hofmann. Carol was the wife of John Madejczyk they were married for 51 years; mother of Jeffrey (Tracy) and James (Jodi) Madejczyk; grandmother of Ellie, Maddie, Jackson, Ava and Joey Madejczyk; sister of Richard (Jerilyn) Hofmann, Mary (Dick) Hall, John (Cheryl), Robert (Monica), and Rick (Henry) Hofmann; sister-in-law Margaret (Arthur) Corradino; nephew Adam Trombino (son of the late Linda and Frank Trombino); and also has very many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition, to taking care of her family she worked for the airline industry as Customer Service Representative for 25 years. Carol loved spending time with family and friends, traveling with her family, and enjoying good food. She was an active supporter of St Collette Catholic Church for over 50 years and also enjoyed giving to many charities. Services will be held in Rolling Meadows where Carol has lived for almost 70 years. Visitation Sunday, November 28 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows, where the funeral service will also be held on Monday, November 29, instate 9:00 am until time of service 10:00 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to St. Colette Church, 3900 Meadows Dr., Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 or the charity of your choice. Oh Carol, we in Tucson still can´t believe your gone. Even the distance hurts 55 years later. I´ll be seeing you soon ! Turning 70 in January. I know John turned 70 in July. We were John-Glenn, as we prayed. Memories may fade but never our LOVE....

Carol, my Beloved older cousin. You were my only babysitter when young.
Now we´re all old and your the first of us cousins to meet Jesus.

We live a small time between Eternity Past & Eternity Future ! I know you had a great life with John and the boys.
Though distance has separated us, LOVE never has, Linda and I talk often of our family we miss in Chicago...

So so so very sorry to hear of Carol´s passing. Such a sweet lady. We had fun reminiscing about her Auntie Annetta who was close friends with my in-laws. She was sure to find me when she started at United. May she Rest In Peace.

So long ago we left for Arizona, never thinking Chicago would be lost. Nicole and I got to see Aunt Pat, Carol and Robert in 2005. Treasured memory !
