Carmella N. Matkovich (nee Petricevich). Beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Matkovich. Loving mother of Paul (Alix), David, Marikay (Lawrence) Bernicky, Pamela (Jon) Hart, and Joan (John) Tumenillo. Devoted grandmother of Andy, Toni, Matt, Laurie, Kyle, Nicole, Katie, Vince and Gabby. Proud great grandmother of thirteen, great great grandmother of one. Dear sister of the late Anthony, (late Dolores) and the late John Petricevich. Member of the St. Jane Seniors, St. Jane Ladies Guild, Ladies Auxiliary of the Purple Heart and the C.F.U Lodge 202. Visitation Sunday August 25, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Monday August 26, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. from the Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (corner of Lorel) to St. Faustina Kowalska Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery located in Elwood, Illinois. Family and friends to meet directly at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. service.
