Perez, Carlota R. "Charlotte" (nee Rivas) Age 86, late of South Deering passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. Beloved wife of Julio Perez for 60 years. Loving daughter of the late Cristino and the late Aurora Rivas. Dear sister of late Angel (late Rebecca) Torres, late Santos (late Manuel) Garcia, late Jesse (late Alberta) Torres, Carmen "Mel" (Faye) Torres, late Alicia Rivas, Eleuteria "Terry" Rivas, Guadalupe "Lupe" Rivas, late Connie (Rudy) Pena and late Antonio (Sara) Rivas. Charlotte is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as many Godchildren. Retired employee of the Chicago Sun-Times and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #1238. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 1, 2018 DIRECTLY at St. Kevin Church 10509 S. Torrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60617 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL will take place at a later date.
