Dear Pearl and Sally,

I am very sad to hear about the passing of your father. Carl was a great, lifelong friend to my father, Howard. He was the Best Man at my parent's wedding. Our parents enjoyed many great times together, including dinner parties and vacations.

With deepest sympathy,
Joanne (Gould) Merkle
