Schneider, Calvin age 80, cherished brother of the late Beatrice (the late Louis) Persky, proud uncle of Marty (Sandy), Steve (Roberta) and Neal (Lynn) Persky, dear great-uncle of Susan, Leah, David, Eli and Alex Persky. Memorial services Friday, October 17, 2003, 2 p.m., at Temple Shalom of Chicago, 3480 N. Lake Shore Dr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Junior Cancer League. I knew Cal from Sabatino's (my mother was a waitress there for many years). Cal saw me for homecomings, proms, and many dates. He also attended my wedding three years ago. He was a very sweet, kind and generous man. My family will miss him a great deal. We are truly sorry for your loss.

I am your Sue, Cal Snyder's daughter. My dad is very saddened by the death of his cousin. He spoke with Cal only ten days ago and said he sounded strong. I will do my best to be there Friday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
