Among the many loving memories and the gifts of his integrity, his kindness, and his compassion, Caesar Gridelli's enduring legacy lives on in his sons, Peter and Paul, and the extended Gridelli family. I am fortunate because I met Caesar several times (or Mr. Gridelli as I called him with deserved respect) I saw the proud gleam in his eyes for his sons and his grandchildren. He is man of uncommon moral stature and loved by all who were lucky enough to know him. He is a strong man in every sense of the word. His cheerful disposition attracted people to him like a magnet. All the words I have ever heard spoken about him going back to the words of Wally Gunzo when Peter and Paul lived and worked at Gunzo's were testaments to his warm and generous heart. He is lively, blessed with a twinkling sense of humor, and, as is the measure of all great men, he placed his family first in his life. I know how proud he is of his sons. Your lives and your love, Pete and Paulie, are the greatest gifts you could have ever given your dad. All human beings are special, yet Mr. Gridelli is very special and your dad's good deeds and exemplary life will sustain all who knew and loved him now and forever. May the Lord bless the Gridelli family in this time of ineffable sorrow. Your dad is a great guy and I know you will alway cherish your memories of his goodness. No words can alleviate your sorrow at his loss. Your love for him sets the gold standard for all children for their parents. You have much to be proud of in the life your dad lived and in the love and pride you always have given him. Your compassionate care for him and the pride your many accomplishment have given him are the greatest gifts that sons can ever give to their father. Caesar loved both of you with all his heart and he loved his family above all else. No higher tribute can be paid to your dad. His love and decency stand him at the apex of what a good man and good father is all about. I know you will carry on his tradition and continue to make him proud of you. With my deepest sympathies, Bill Martin
