I just found out today that Burt had passed away. He was such a pleasant person to know. He was one of the few people I knew that could understand the craziness of show people. I join you in feeling a real loss.

I am very sorry to hear of Burt's passing. I have worked with Burt the past 15 years and considered him a good friend. He was one of the nicest persons I have known.
Sorry I could not attend the funeral, as I am recovering from surgery.

I saw Burt for lunch when I was in Chicago this last summer and he gave me a picture of himself and Julie on my boat in St. Thomas. I have had it on my desk and will treasure it even more. A friend for over 75 years will be dearly missed.
