To Malachy and all those who mourn the loss of Bridget.

While I don't have many memories of Mrs. Towey, I remember her as an exceptionally warm and welcoming woman. You always felt welcomed and cared for by her. My observation is that this is part of the legacy she imparted to her children as well. I am asking God to comfort you in your loss in such a way that it directs you back to His comforting heart.

Dear Towey family,
We are very sad to hear of the loss of Aunt Bea. We didn't know Aunt Bea very well due to the distances, however I remember she was a vibrant and strong individual and I know you will miss her dearly. My mother is not very well herself so will not be able to attend the funeral on Saturday. Please know that you are all in our thoughts.

Dear Malachy and Family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Towey was always a delight to talk let it be when I would stop by the house or see the lot of you at back in the ol' days at the 6511 or the other countless Irish pubs when you, Malachy, would play.

My prayers and sympathies are with you.

Go mbeannai Dia duit.

Dear Friends,
On behalf of my girls and I, we extend our deepest sympathy to you. Mrs. Towey always had a twinkle in her eye, a kind word to say, endless energy and love for her family and friends. She was truly a gem who will be dearly missed. I still see her and Mr. Towey, ever so lightfooted, dancing the waltz; a thing of beauty. May you find peace in the love and prayers extended to you from friends and family.

Mrs. Towey, model wife and mother, was a delightful friend to my wife and me. My wife, Ellen, used to refer to Mrs. Towey and herself as "The Bodhran Widows," as Mr. Towey and I would abandon them to each other's company when we played our bodhrans in countless Irish music sessions at the old 6511 Club. We will treasure our memories of her and keep her in our prayers.
