To The Rudnick Family ;
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Brian Joseph I am deeply saddened by his loss. His mother Geri is very good friend of mine in here in Virginia. I've heard many stories about the Rudnick children growing up and have gotten much pleasure out of them. I hope that God's love shines upon all of you and brings you peace and love once again. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

This is just a note to let everyone know what an impact a little brother has had on a big brother's life. Through challenging times and alot of adversity, Brian learned to overcome and rise above ALL that was negative. He always smiled and shared a good word. Because of those "life lessons", in my eyes, he IS and ALWAYS will be the strongest and most gentle man I have ever known. I will treasure our lives together and miss the times we never shared. "Brian Jokis" I LOVE YOU--Your Big Brother

Words cannot express our sorrow on hearing about the death of Brian.

Aunt Ger, I cannot believe we were just talking a couple of weeks ago about how great all of us kids turned out - despite the pain and aggravation we gave our Moms for so many years. Brian grew into a good man and father.

My mom always told me that if we cannot trace God's actions we must trust him. I know Brian is looking down on all of you and sending you his love. Please be assured of my ongoing prayers for all of you - especially for you Aunt Ger, and for Diane, and their children.

Dear Diane, my sadness and shock upon hearing this news is nothing compared to how you must feel at this moment. I don't know if Brian ever mentioned me, but we spent an awful lot of time together while we were growing up. I moved away and we all moved on but for some reason he was never very far from my thoughts. I wish that I had gotten the chance to have Brian introduce his family to me. Judging by the entries in this book, he was rather proud of the life that you and he had built. The thoughts and prayers of my family will be with yours.

January 23, 2008

Dear Rudnick Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear about Brian's passing. It has been a very long time since I have seen any of you but I have very fond memories of you all. Brian had the first girl/boy party in grammar school and the only reason my mom let me go was because it was at the Rudnick's. I will keep you all in my prayer's and I know Brian will be watching over you. God speed Brian.

Dear Diane and family,
Although we only met once a couple summers ago for Jackson's party, I met Brian at the LaGrange Hospital job and worked together at the Schaumburg job. Brian was sharp, strong and vital to all our tasks. Brian also had the big heart. I remember him telling me stories of Jackson and seeing the happiness in his eyes. I also remember him showing-off pictures of "Miss Mimi" too. His personality, sensitiveness and exuberance is the Brian we know and will forever live in our hearts. Diane, take comfort in knowing he was loved, respected and will be painfully missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
