Approaching the first year of your passing has provided me much needed time to internalize my sorrow and grief. You are sorely missed with your unique perspective on life. Although, we had our share of differences on issues, I admired your tenacity and courage to deal with an un-level playing field in the pursuit of your personal aspirations. Throughout the years you readily offered advice, encouragement, and what it takes to be accountable for one’s action—guidance a father is expected to pass on to their sons. Bobby, your passing continues to be mourned by those of us who loved you so much. I feel very fortunate and honored to be one of your sons. This is my tribute to you—my father.

My sincerest sympathies go out to the Anderson family on the passing of Bobby. I know how much respect and fondness Marvin held for his dad, and remember hearing many amusing golf stories involving Bobby when Marvin would reminisce about home over the years. I know he will be missed, but also that Bobby left a wonderful legacy through his children.

My condolences go out to the Anderson family. Although I didn't know Mr. Anderson, it has been my privilege to know Marvin, and my life has been enriched through him.

Deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Bobby R. Anderson. Although I may never have met Bobby in person, I have had the honor to know one of his sons - Marvin. Through him I know that Bobby must have been a man of grace, courage, and wisdom for that is what lives on in his son.

If by knowing a man's son one may say they knew something of the man then I knew Bobby Anderson. I never met Bobby Anderson but I know his son Marvin and the content of his character. All the things that Bobby Anderson gave to the world remain to encourage and inspire us.



Marvin and family, I am sorry that you will miss him but everytime you call upon a memory he is reborn.
