In the late 1970s, I sat next to Bev in an art class taught by our mutual friend, Marie. Soon, The Art Group, as we called the 6 of us in the class, became more than just a group students, but friends. Our adventures together soon expanded from pastel chalks and oil paints to dinners at each others' homes, attending plays and musicals in Chicago, and exhibits at the Art Institute. I look back on this time together fondly. I'm SO sorry to learn we've lost our Beverly. My sympathy to Sharon, Sandy, Lisa and Rachel especially, who may recall her Mom's crazy group of art friends! May God bless all of you at this time.
