Betty Oliver Obituary

Oliver, Betty Ann L. (nee Schedel) Passed away on February 13 at the age of 77. Devoted mother to John, Kimberly Anez (Joel), Debra Torres (Tim) and Scott (Sandra); beloved grandmother to Jason (Erin), Benjamin, Kristin (Kevin), Adam, Lauren and Kara; great-grandmother to Jacob, Zachary, Olivia, Fisher and Tuesday; cherished sister to Robert Schedel (Caroline) and Marilyn Anderson; and Godmother to Robin. Preceded in death by her father Benjamin Schedel, step-father Richard Grabo, brother-in-law Ralph Anderson and mother Mildred Alm Grabo. She lived her life in Pilsen where her family has lived since before the Great Fire. She was the 3rd generation of women in her family to graduate from Pickard Elementary, and she graduated Harrison H.S. in 1948. She retired from Chicago Messenger Service. She loved music, dancing, travel, fishing, movies and cards. She adored animals and had a very tender heart. She will be missed.
