Bert Fitzgibbon Obituary

Fitzgibbon, Bert W. 82, formerly of Chicago, WWII Vet., he was a Sgt. Camouflage Technician 902nd Army, he attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He became a Commercial Artist and Owner of Fitzgibbon Studios at 535 N. Michigan. He was a popular jazz pianist and played at various clubs in the loop. Bert was one of the founding members of the Dinosaur Club. He is preceded in death by his sister, Fran Reubelt. He is the husband of Eunice Fitzgibbon and the late Betty (nee Roche) Fitzgibbon and the late Sandra (nee Vizansky) Fitzgibbon, father of John Fitzgibbon, Kathleen Jensen and Fran Heun, grandfather to Kathy and Rob and great-grandfather to John. Memorials can be made to American Lung Association of Illinois. There will be a Memorial Celebration at a later date. For more info: 847- 622-8115
