Bernie Gomberg Obituary
Bernie Gomberg passed away peacefully in his sleep this past Tuesday night. He leaves a brother, sister, 3 children and an extended family of spouses, grand children and great grand children. Bernie was an award winning member of the Rockland / Westchester Chef's Association, President of the Monterey Gardens Community Club, and an active member of the Rockland Republican Party. Bernie was known for his enthusiastic and upbeat personality, his sense of humour and his love and devotion to family and friends. We wish Bernie well as he rejoins with his wife and the love of his life, Harriet, and with his son Michael in a better place. Find peace Bernie. Funeral services for Bernie Gomberg will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00am at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley New York, 10977. The chapel can be reached at 845-356-8600. Burial will follow at King David Cemetery in Putnam Valley, N.Y. at approximately 12:45pm. Directions to the cemetery as well as Shiva information will be available at the chapel and online at www.hellmanmemorial.com. For those who wish to do so please make memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.

In Memory of one hell of a good guy ! He had such a wonderful sense of humor that I know when Bernie appeared at the pearly Gates of Heaven his first words were "Did you hear the one about the .......? " Rest in Peace Bernie, you will be missed !! Our deepest sympathy and love to the entire Gomberg Family.
