Mrs.. Lowry, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 in the Presbyterian Home of South Carolina. Born April 18, 1917, in Niles, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Nora Shelar. She was the wife of the late Kenneth James Lowry.
Mrs. Lowry was a homemaker. She was member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her family, Dr. Kenneth J. and Kristin Lowry, of Florence, Larry B. and Darlene Lowry of Huntington, W. Virginia; three granddaughters, Kara and her husband, Hunter Morgan, Kathryn Lowry, and Erin Lowry and two grandsons, Kevin Lowry and Kent Lowry. Also surviving are two great grandsons, Hunter and Patrick Morgan. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Home of South Carolina, at 2350 Lucas Street, Florence, SC 29501 or John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 5000 Marsh Avenue, Florence, SC 29505.
