Bernice Gonerka Obituary
Bernice M. Gonerka (Garbaciak). Age 97, of Morris, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehab. She was born in Chicago, residing there for 60 years. Surviving are 3 children, Beverely Herr, Judith Miller and Anthony (Mary) Gonerka; grandchildren, Tracy (late Ellis III) Porch, Timothy (Paula) Wendt, Barbara Miller, Jenny (Dustin) Baker, Cathy (Travis) Johnson, Alexander, Anthony and Christopher Gonerka; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Ellis IV, Logan, Cadence, Tucker, Kooper, Heidi, Machel and Elizabeth; and many numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded by her husband, Edward Gonerka; her daughter, Barbara Gonerka; granddaughter, Crystal Wendt, her parents, Vincent and Katie Garbaciak and several siblings.
Visitation for Bernice will be Thursday, June 10, 2021 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 24500 S. Navajo Dr., Channahon, IL 60410 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Justice, Il.
