Retired CFD, age 84, beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee Farrington), loving father of William (Mariette), James (Deborah), Margaret "Peggy" (Mustafa) Hassan, Eileen (Gregory) Kaster and the late Mary Jo Waters, dearest grandfather of Sean (Amy), Lisa, Megan, Brian, James Jr. (Staci), Jennifer, Michael, Mary Jo, Christopher, Robert, Ryan, Sarah, Daniel, Andrew and Nicholas, and great-grandfather of Allison Nowak and Lena Lillian Waters, dear brother of Edward (Anne), Catherine (the late Charles) Westburg, Joan (Robert) Nolan and the late Eleanor (the late Oscar) Macellaio, George (Patricia) and Raymond (the late Marion) Waters, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran U.S. Navy WWII. 4th Degree Member Madonna Council K of C #1135. Member of Structural Iron Workers Union Local #1, and a die hard Cub Fan. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m., from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 7901 S.
