Volk, Bernard E., Sr. Age 92, died peacefully on January 12, 2012. He was born to Otto and Carolyn (Willin) Volk on May 15, 1919, in Chicago, Il. Bernard and Irene (Osborn) were married on June 24, 1944 and blessed with five children. He was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #44. He retired at age 60 from Teamsters Local #703. Devoted father to Beverly (Mario) Trafficante, Barbara Volk (Zuranski), Brian Volk, and Bernadette (Shaun) Kim. Loving grandfather of 11. Great grandfather of 19 and great great grandfather of 2. Beloved brother to Carol (Chuck) Phillips, Marge (Pat) Stack, Patricia (Marco) Damico. Beloved uncle to many. Preceeding him in death, his parents, stepfather Edward Summers, his loving wife Irene (Osborn), beloved son Bernard Jr., beloved grandson Douglas Zuranski, twin sisters Florence (Stanley) Malnarich, Rita Marie (Art) Charette, brother Edward Summers, son-in-law Mario Trafficante and Steve Zuranski, brother-in-law Pat Stack, and cherished companion Rose Amado.
