(nee Moses), dear father of Paulette (Julian) Levy, David (Sharon) Steinberg, Steven (Arlene) Steinberg, Louis (Renee) Steinberg and Lori (David) Smith, proud grandfather of Beth Levy, Heidi (Adam) Stone, Tamara Steinberg, Rebecca (David) Wiley, Bryan (Mari Beth) Steinberg, Bradley Steinberg, Stacey Steinberg, Weston Steinberg, Kate Steinberg, Ryan Steinberg, Kimberly Smith and Susan Smith, cherished great-grandfather of four, devoted brother of the late Lt. David Steinberg, USMC, (MIA in WWII). Services Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove, Rd. (1 blk. N. of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove, IL. Interment Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Chicago Post 153 JWV, 2722 W. Pratt, Chicago, IL, 60645, would be appreciated. Today the White Sox lost one of their most loyal fans. Both John & I worked with Bernie for 6 years at MCI - he was a wonderful man with a good heart. We have thought many times about him since we have left the company and have many fond memories of him. He was loved by all who worked with him and will be missed.
