Looby, Bernard J. "Elmer" beloved husband of the late Ethel (nee Quinn), loving father of Anne Marie "Nancy" (Donald) Hermle, dearest grandfather of Michelle (Robert) Ligue and the late Donald Hermle, and great grandfather of Robert Ligue, dear brother of Michael (late Virginia), Raymond (the late Agnes) and the late Lawrence (the late Louise), Joseph and Edward, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. A retired 30 year employee of City of Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred. Resting at Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 4635 S. Wallace St., where funeral services will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m. Visitation Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery 773-268-0703.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
