Longawa, Bernadette Of The LaGrange Highlands, former long time resident of Cicero. She was the only surviving sister of siblings, Bessie, Mae, Adeline, Adam, Walter, Cecelia, Paul, Lillian, Irene and Florence; loving aunt and great aunt of many. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 8 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at the funeral home to St. Cletus Catholic Church, LaGrange for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Bernadette taught high school Physical Education for many years in the Freeport, IL area. She was a caregiver for most of her life for her sisters.
