Condolences to the Duster family. I know Mr. Duster is resting in peace. He was an inspiration to all, especially to the children of chicago and everyone in his community. I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Duster during my senior year at Chicago Vocational High School. He was always involved with the High Schools striving to encourage and motivate the students to continue their education. I am very happy to hear that he was able to fight the good fight for his people til the very end. He will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with the entire Duster Family; may God comfort you and give you peace. Ben was my friend, my neighbor, and my mentor with the National Black MBA Association of which he was a founding member. He really was a man who strived to make a difference.

We extend our most sincere condolences to the Duster family at this time of loss. We pray that the Lord bless and keep you and may His countenance shine upon you. Our experience with Mr. Duster was all too brief, for as it started as a professional matter, it soon turned into a series of most enjoyable and personal episodes that always left my wife and I commenting on the pleasant nature of our discourse and how we felt lifted by it. Such wisdom and grace is in sore need in our troubled world today, however the legacy of good works that Mr. Duster has left behind will not fail to sprout and bear fruit for generations yet untold. For he set a standard for professionalism in his practice and righteousness in his daily affairs and life that is a beacon unto us and we will miss him dearly.

My prayers go out to the Duster family. I will miss Ben's words of wisdom and history lessons, that he gave us each month when we held meetings at Edna's restaurant. He was the rock for the National Black MBA Chicago Chapter. -

I served with Ben on the Dad's Assoc. Board of Directors for 3 years at the U of I and cannot express how sad this loss is to the U of I community. Ben was without doubt the most kind and caring person I've ever met. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
