No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Dear Anita and Pam,
I was very saddened to hear about my Uncle's passing. He was such a kind and caring man. I have very fond memories of all the times he came to Phoenix to visit his brother, Henry Shulman, who was my dad. I will miss Uncle Ben very much, but there is a place he will always be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Anita and Pam,
I was saddened to hear of Uncle Ben's death. I know how much his family meant to him. With his passing, a generation of Shulman boys ( and Aunt Cele ) are gone.
I still have some of the spices in my cabinet from when he moved back to Illinois from California. When we go to dinner early I think of Uncle Ben likeing to go to the "Early Bird Specials."
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. He will be missed.

Anita and Pam: I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Uncle Ben's passing. He may be gone, but I have nothing but pleasant memories when I think of him. Whenever we conversed he never failed to ask about my job and how Neena and the kids were doing. He was a very thoughtful and kind man. Neena and I enjoyed his company and his generosity when we visited him in California. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you.

Anita and Pam-
As Betsy indicated, we had a very nice visit with your father in the summer, and shared some happier times vintage family film footage with him.
He enjoyed it immensely.
I am remembering our Sunday drives to 6729 South Clyde, and your visits to our home.
I am remembering how enjoyable all of those visits were.
I am remembering all of the laughter that took place.
I am remembering that your father always took a sincere interest in the sports I played.
I am remembering going golfing with him at the Jackson Park course when I was probably
10 years old.
I am vaguely remembering the fun times we all had in Union Pier, Michigan.
I only have nice thoughts about your father.
I regret to say that I will be having minor surgery, and that will be keeping me from attending the services.
Sincerely,
Cousin Alan

Anita, Pam, your families and friends:
Our family sends its condolences to all of you. My brothers and I visited with Uncle Ben several months ago and we went into the sitting room of his building, put a few family CD's in the machine, and showed him old movies of happier times with our Aunt Ag, Grandma/Grandpa Shulman, my parents, and other family members. (We have made copies for all of the families if ever interested.) He loved that day, and we are forever grateful we spent that time (and other times) visiting with him...but certainly not often enough.
Our love to everyone. We will miss Uncle Ben very much.
Betsy, Richard, Paul, Joanna Katz
(I'm sorry I cannot come to the ceremony---just got hit with a very bad cold. I asked Susie to mention she talked with me, but in case that doesn't happen, please know I would be there to pay my respects if I could.
