Ross, Beatrice 89, daughter of the late Maurice and Hilda Ross, very special friend of Herman and June Andalcio, their sons and the late Mamie Ward, "Auntie Bea" was adored by many and recognized for her special affection for cats. Librarian with the Chicago Public Schools; enlightening childrens lives for over three decades. Member of Chicago Teachers Librarian Assn., Illinois Library Assn. and American Library Assn. Colleges degrees from Washington University and Chicago State University. A Veteran of the Korean War. Member of the Wac Post #919 American Legion, the National Honor Society of Legion Women and The Twenty & Four (20/4). Graveside funeral services Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago. Maple Section. Info: Piser Funeral Services, 847-679-4740.
