Israelstam, Beatrice (nee Ruden), age 96, died March 15, 2006. Artist and Scholar. Beloved wife for 70 years to Alfred W. Israelstam (1908-2005), proud mother of Frances (David) Levin and David (Elizabeth Blake) Israelstam, cherished grandmother of Amy Levin Bayersdorfer, Cheryl Levin and Shana (Johan) Kellum, delighted great-grandmother of Gage, Rachel, Tova and Simon. Survived by sisters, Sylvia Brull and Nettie Silverman. Affectionate, loyal care provided by Jadwiga and Krystyna. Great-appreciation to everyone who made a special place in their hearts for Bede, particularly over the last year. Services Friday, March 17th, 10:30 a.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL.
