Beatrice Brodsky Obituary

Brodsky, Beatrice (nee Mandel), age 92, She loved children, working at Evanston's Kingsley School as a teaching assistant in a classroom for physically challenged children. She retired in her 70's, but continued to volunteer at neighborhood schools. A native of Denver, CO, she met her late husband, Alex Brodsky in Chicago, while visiting her aunt "Toots". Beatrice was an artist, gardener, seamstress, life-long learner and volunteer. She was active in the League of Women Voters, Girl Scouts of America, PTA, ORT and was a life member of Hadassah. Survivors include, daughters, Janet (David) Migdley and Harriet (Sandford) Wolf, grandchildren, Dr. Deborah (Brian Gladstein) Migdley, Sarah (Kevin) Cassidy and Matthew Wolf, and great-grandson, Jadon Carl Gladstein, born a few hours before her death.
