Thanks for the great time at the reunion & for all that you did for everyone. God bless you , your wife & family. I see there is truth to the song, only the good die young. Thank you Lord for the times we had.

I just received the news that Barry

had passed away. I was shocked. I was unable to make it to the re-union but got together with Barry and my cousin Cindy to go out and

have pizza together. After 30 years

of not seeing him it was like old times. He was a great friend and I

will always remember the good times and good friends we were in school.

My sympathy goes out to his family.

He was a great guy.

This is such sad news. Barry was the best uncle to my sons and a sweet brother-in-law to me. Dennis and the boys will miss him. My condolences to the family.

We are so very sorry and deeply saddened. Jill, our hearts go out to you. We have thought of you both often since the reunion. Paul says, "it took me 30 years to realize what a friend he was in school and now my friend is gone". Our special love, Elaine & Paul Froeter

Our Deepest Sympathies go out to the Daniels Family. We were shocked to hear of Barry's passing. It was so nice to see everyone at the 30th reunion, without Barry it would have never happened. He will be truly missed.

Barry had the kind of smile that instantly put one back on your face the moment you saw him. His spirit made you feel that everything was alright in the world, even momentarily. I was fortunate to know him through his friendship with my sister, Constance. His smile & laughter will always be remembered. My prayers are with his family.

After hearing the very said news of Barry's passing, I started to think about our 30th reunion. After talking with Barry at that time, I became very aware of what an incredibly caring and concerned person he was, which is echoed here by many others. I can only hope that his memory will remain a positive inspiration to everyone. My prayers and sympathy are with his family and friends.

Barry always had a unique outlook on life and it always shined through. No matter where, what or when he was always concerned about others. His love for sports will be what we will cherish most about him. We will miss you...... FOOTWORK BABY!

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Barry's passing. I am moved to tears when I think about what a special person the world has lost. I got together with Barry and another school friend, Sherrie, a few months before our high school reunion was planned. It was wonderful spending hours reminiscing, looking at our yearbooks and remembering our grade school and high school experiences. I will always remember what a kind and gentle soul Barry was. Seeing him again and hearing what he was up to truly let me see how much he enjoyed living life to the fullest. Barry will be greatly missed by many and I will never forget him. Barry truly was one the best people I have ever met, even if he was a Cub fan. He never seemed to forget anything that ever happened to anyone he knew and was genuinely concerned about their life. He will be missed.

Barry was a tremendous contibutor to Clarify and a great friend to many. He always had a positive attitude and never said no to additional work. He will really be missed. He also loved his Illini basketball and I know he will be watching them from above.

I've know Barry for 27 years and we played on so many softball teams I couldn't even begin to count. He was truly a good friend and always had a smile and a wise crack to make you laugh. I will truly miss him.

Not too many months ago Barry dropped by my Mom's house (still on south side) and visited with her and my sister. Ellen. He offered to be there if they needed any help anytime since he "still lived close to the neighborhood." This exemplifies Barry--so kind and caring and willing to help--a great friend who will be truly and dearly missed...

Barry sent this photo when he was putting his energies into launching our 30th Reunion. But the photo shows Barry as the sunny, good-looking, warm friend he was to many. I was privileged to be his friend. Connie

Anytime I talked to Barry, he always had something nice to say. He was always upbeat with a sincere interest in our conversations. Barry was a great guy. Sorry to hear about the loss.

While living in Bermuda I recieved a surprise call that Barry and Jill were on the Island visiting for a work function. We spent several hours together. It was very nice to see an old friend since I had just moved to a new country. Barry was a caring person and will be missed by many.
