Wardinski, Barbara C. (nee Sandowski) 80, late of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Encore Senior Village, New Lenox. Born in Chicago to the late Frank and Mary (nee Novak) Sandowski, living in the New Lenox area the past 11 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley R. Wardinski; Loving mother of Linda (James) Wardinski-Homco, Laura (Michael) Wardinski-Murphy, Stanley Wardinski, Steven (Cindy) Wardinski and Richard (Debra) Wardinski; Cherished grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 18; Dear sister of Bernice (the late Leo) Mikolajczyk; the late Terese Tuma, the late Florian Sandowski, and the late Robert Sandowski. In lieu of flowers memorials to Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, April 18, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home at10:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
