Barbara Slusarczyk, beloved wife of Walter Paredes, passed away on September 23, 2021. Cherished daughter of Elizabeth and the late Joseph Slusarczyk. Dear sister of Eve (the late Jim) Tyree, Margaret (Peter) Nagle, and Christopher (Tracy Murphy) Slusarczyk. Special aunt and 'second mother' to Lauren, Ericka, Nick, Willson, Jessica, Emma, Elizabeth, Joseph, Matthew, and Kate. Special friend and trusted colleague to many. The happiest day of Barb's life was when she married Wally, the man who held her heart for more than 40 years, followed closely by the night the Cubs won the World Series minutes before her birthday. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a memorial is scheduled. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Fidelity Charitable: Memo James C Tyree Charitable Foundation.
