Roger,
I hope you will get to read this. I don't know if you remember me, but I was Kevin great friend and colleague at UCF, Michael. I was looking for Maitland zipcode as I wanted to send Barbara and you news long overdue. That's how I learned of Barbara's passing. I'm so very sorry to be too late. I wanted to share with her and you the happiness of my marriage and the great news of my twin boys, who are almost two. I also wanted to tell her that even though I had not been in touch that I was well and that I think of Kevin, always. I have not taken off his engineering ring since she put it on my finger at UCF's ceremony and I'm sure she would be glad to know that I'm a successful environmental engineer/scientist in a major consulting firm. I hope you're holding on ok. Please receive from my family and myself our most sincere and heartfelt condolences and feel free to pass this message along to Kevin's family. I have and will always think of Barbara when I see a lighthouse.
With lots of love,
Michael

Dear Family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I met Barbara about 2 years ago in the Red Hatters group in which we belonged. She was always so kind and friendly with everyone. I loved hearing how she was doing well with her kidney transplant, and she would always follow with expressions of gratitude for being alive. She had side effects from the anti-rejection medications that were required of her, but that couldn't keep her down. I will miss her sweet e-mails that she always included me in. I do take comfort in knowing that Barbara is in a good place and reunited with her immensely loved and missed son, Kevin.

I met Barbara when we worked together as paralegal and secretary at Alvarez, Sambol, et al. She is such a wonderful person and Christian friend. She was with me through my sister's illness and eventual death this past January. I cannot even express how much I will miss her. She is with the Lord now and is seeing her son again. I have to be happy for her but very sad for us that remain.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked with with her a few years ago at a law office & she was always "chipper". She was there for me when my father passed away & I was there when her son passed away. We both consoled each other. She was a great lady & I will have found memories of her. Again I am truly sorry for your loss.
