Aunt Barbara you will truly be missed! I just wish I could have come and visited you while I was there visiting Grandma Yvonne, but you went on a trip to I think Wisconsin. Heaven is getting an angel!

To the family of my mother's best friend:
There are no words to adequately convey the sadness our family feels right now. We have always viewed Barbara as extended family; you have always embraced my mother as part of yours. Your mother and mine shared both good times and sad times together for at least 40 years. They were there to cheer each other on in hard times and share in many good ones. I believe they were their own little support group!
This earthly world has lost a special woman who brought joy and laughter to everyone she encountered. Personally, I will always appreciate the efforts she made to encourage and support my mother with her own health challenges. That was what she was about....selflessness. Whether she spent the night on the couch, brought over soup, wore a funny mask or teased the cute male nurses, she was a loyal friend. Even with her own health challenges, she was always there for my mom. If laughter is the best medicine, Barbara cured a lot of people!
Our family will miss her, but remain eternally grateful to have known her. She leaves us full of gratitude for the joy she gave us.
With deepest sympathy to all of you at this very sad time.

Dear Pat, Barbara and Family,
Mike and I send our most heartfelt sympathy. Mom has lost her very dearest friend and the world has lost one of it's most special people. May all our hearts be filled with the wonderful memories and smiles that Barbara brought into our lives.
