Barbara Levin Obituary

Dear Levin Family:



Mrs. Levin was such a wonderful person and we are fortunate to have known her. She was a "second Mom" during Mary Lee's years at Kellogg-always there with a home cooked meal, advice and support. She touched all of us who were fortunate enough to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and we hope to see you soon.

What a shock to look up the Tribune news and find that Barbara's name was there. I have not kept in touch and not know that she was ill. Please know that I am so saddened by this news. What a wonderful person and how fortunate to have known her. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Elaine & Rob & Cal (Mr. Levin):



This is the thrid time I've started writing this over. I heard of the sad news from my mom. It must have been extremely difficult to see your mom suffering. She was a fighter and fougt a hard fight. I will always remember your mom as the person who taught me how to say my "I"'s instead of "Me"''s I'd always say "Elaine & Me are going to go play" and she would always say "It's Elaine & I" not "Elaine and me". I also remember what a wonderful cook she was and tennis player. Also, how she was very encouraging to those around her.
