William Ortmann Obituary

Ortmann, William "Bill" 63, of 132 Wesley Court, Richmond, Kentucky, died Saturday, October 18, 2003. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, January 5, 1940, the son of the late Alfred and Meta Leusch Ortmann. He was a retired truck driver, a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and served in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Sonja Hoskins Ortmann; one son, William Todd Ortmann of Berwyn, Illinois; three daughters, Wendy (Russell) Romanelli of Lisle, Illinois, Christine Ortmann of Melrose Park, Illinois and Ingrid Ortmann of Richmond; three grandchildren, Marina Romanelli, Angela Romanelli and Vincent Romanelli; one sister, Marilyn Cassara of New York. Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 516 Pasadena Dr., Lexington with Rev. Haydyn Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. Expressions of sympathy made to the American Lung Assoc. Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home, Richmond, Ky., is in charge of the arrangements. 859-623-0822
