Dick & Family,
I don't know if you will remember me, but I attended Mayfair Grammar School and Schurz High School with Barbara. I just learned of her passing, and I would like to extend our sincere sympathies.

To the Barthuly family.. gosh where do I start... I have known Barb since I was a little boy and she was such a great lady then and always was. I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with Barb and Dick and all the rest of the Barthuly family. Your family is a staple in our Wonder Lake community and helped make up its character that makes it such a pleasure to live here. Barb genuinely cared about everyone else, I knew this because she always asked about my parents especially my mom whos been through some extreme health problems lately. I will miss seeing and talking to Barb on my visits to their house, really really will. Barb was such a pleasure to always talk to... what an awesome family Barb has and my heart truly aches for what Dick, Candy, Becky and the rest of the family are going through. RIP Barb and we will see you again someday to see that smile and hear that laugh that lit up a room ;)

To me Barb was an incredible wonderful women who I looked up to and respected her word. I first me Barb and Dick over 20yrs ago being a friend of Candy and Tom's. Barb had always open her house to me and made me feel welcomed. She was a great example of how a parents friend could be a trusted friend. Many times Barb and Dick showed me that there are scarifies to owning your own business both family time and personal time. Barb once told me to take time out for yourself no matter what if you wait till your done you may be too old to enjoy it. I loved Barb like a second mother. She made me feel good every time I saw her and she was loved very much by her husband and family. God Bless you Barb as you accepted into the arms of our heavenly father.

There's a hole in the world without Barb. She surely was one of a kind. You cannot have known Barb and not smile. She had a way of making people laugh even if they did not want to. She will be greatly missed.

I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am hearing of your mothers passing, Although I didn't know your mother personally but from what you have told me about her she sounded like a wonderful wonderful lady which knowing you Becky and how wonderful you are I clearly see where you have gotten your kind hearted spirit, generosity, and just an all around great person that you are from. We are unable to attend the service but I will always remember her smile and loving hug.
