Lattyak, Augustine "Gus" WWII Veteran, beloved husband of 56 years to Helene (nee Gizowski), dearest dad of Allan (Colette), Joyce (Marty) Plecki and Cindy (late Dennis) Zarach, cherished grandpa of seven, dear brother of Lucy (late Fred) Kacer, late Ann (late Joe) Kurtys, late Stephen (late Alice) Lattyak and the late Edward (Irene) Lattyak, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of the St. Richard Golden Agers, Nav-A-Mar VFW #5535 and the NACCCA Camp Chapter #77. Funeral Saturday, 8:45 a.m., from the Wolniak Funeral Home, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd., to St. Simon Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 2 to 9 p.m. Please omit flowers. 773-767-4500.

Aunt Helen, Al, Joyce, Cindy and families,
This is a time when we remember some really good times...like the pony and our dad and Uncle Gus in Joyce's back yard. How hard we laughed. And that is what Uncle Gus was all about. We will remember the good memories and miss him in the coming years.
We are sad because of your loss, but we also know that Uncle Gus is in Paradise where there is no pain and suffering..and there is 24 hour football.
Know that you are all in our constant thoughts and prayers.
