Dear Gonzalez Family:
Augie and I were friends in Reading, PA, and went to school together for 3 years to earn our MBA degrees from St. Joseph University.
We had many heart warming converstions on our way to and from classes. We became good friends back in the 80's. After I moved to NC in 1985 we stayed in tough and visited once in Chicago.
I was suprised and so sorry to learn about the cancer. He kept me informed by email of his fight abainst this disease. I prayed that he would come out on top and was devistated to learn that he could not win. He was so positive over the last 5 years that things would get better. I am so sorry for his loss.
My God bless all of you.

My dear friend Junior. Have many memories as teenagers way back in the 60's. We loved music and played together the guitar. We attended church with Danny Gomez. We also attended school with Ralph and Leo. Those were fun days for all of us.
I am going to miss you. May you rest in peace.

Augie -- You were one of the kindess men I have ever known. You were a great friend and when I needed it - I could come to you for good, sound advice. I enjoyed every time we met. Rest in peace, and save room for me up there - looking forward to seeing you again.

I met Augie in the summer of 1996 when he hired me to work as a project manager on the CTSO team doing the Sprint PCS deployments. I thank him for giving me this opportunity and for all of the support and guidance he provided me in my career. He was a kind and very intelligent man who truly cared for people.
