I had the pleasue of knowing and working with Audrey for over 13 years at Illinois Masonic. I wish to express my deepest sympathies to her family and dearest friends. She was a stand out person, beautiful, savvy, and genuinely warm and caring. Her loss is tragic and I am truly so sorry.
Sincerely, Arlene Cohen

I met Audrey in 1080. I was hired as a construction carpenter at IMMC. My first impression was of one of the most wholesome and down to earth people I have ever met. First impressions count alot to me. She never stopped giving of herself to anyone she met, fellow employees, patients or visitors. Of all the people I've known at IMMC I consider Audrey a blessing in my life.

To Audrey's family and all of her dear friends, my sympathy and prayers. I had the good fortune of knowing Audrey since 1966 when I began my nursing education at Illinois Masonic Hospital.Audrey was and still remains a role model for me and many other nurses. I worked with her at various times in my years at Masonic and what always impressed me about Audrey was here sincere concern for all of the patients she came in contact with and every staff member she worked with. Though Audrey was in a supervisory position she would not hesitate to assist a patient. She would never seek out a staff nurse or nursing assistant to tell them a patient needed something, she would "just do it". I always felt like I worked with Audrey, not for Audrey. She was the ultimate nurse and the best human being I have had the pleasure of knowing. Rest in peace dear Audrey. You have left behind many friends in tears but, the memories of you will always bring a smile to our faces. Sandy(Rudolph)Hanrahan
